Hailing from an evergreen tree, indigenous to South East Asia, Star Anise is steam distilled from the tree’s distinctive star shaped fruit. Star Anise is to be used with caution, however when used cautiously this essential oil may be helpful with digestive upsets and in liniments for soreness in muscles and joints.
