The strongest of all the varieties of Eucalyptus we carry, Eucalyptus kochii, with its extremely high yield of 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol) is a potent antiseptic and pest repellent. Our Eucalyptus kochii oil is sourced sustainably from the Western Australian wheatbelt region where it is cultivated in such a way that it enhances the local biodiversity and reduces atmospheric carbon. Eucalyptus kochii essential oil may be of assistance during the winter season and may assist to relieve physical tension and soreness in muscles and joints.

Safety Notes

Considered non-toxic and non-sensitising. Eucalyptus kochii’s 1,8-Cineole content can cause central nervous system and breathing problems in infants and young children, therefore we recommend it not be applied on or around the face, or used in steaming, of children under 10 years. If using topically on children, on other areas of the body, always use a very low dilution rate. Can be diffused. Use with caution on older children. Oxidised oil may cause irritation, avoid using old oil. Not to be taken. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before using.

    Very similar opening as the Radiata, that mentholated, nostrils opening punch. Less green and more balmy…

    In this case it dies down faster, loses that quality in a couple minutes, and immediately moving to a slightly woody, clean turpentine like scent. Interestingly enough I get this almost back pepper like smell in there as well.

    Again, vastly changing, moving into a nice gentle woody base, while keeping that spicy background. A really nice woody drydown to be honest.

    This would work great with woody and spicy notes. I would love to experience mixing this with ISO-E
