Heritage Oils has a very special connection with East Indian Sandalwood (Santalum album) and West Australian Sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) Essential Oils as our sister company Santanol is a world leader in the production and distribution of these two pure Sandalwood Essential Oils. Both Oils are sustainably and ethically sourced here in Western Australia. The East Indian Sandalwood is sourced from Santanol’s own plantations in the north west allowing Santanol to own and manage the entire process – from harvesting the seeds to distilling the oil. The WA Sandalwood is sourced from legal, traceable and ethical wild harvested wood that is managed to international standards, ensuring it is sourced only from responsibly managed forests.
