| How to use | The amount of solubiliser needed to disperse essential oils into water can vary depending on the essential oil, so a little trial and error is needed. Using equal amounts of solubiliser to essential oil (such as 3 drops solubiliser to 3 drops essential oil) will likely result in a cloudy or milky final product. For a clear final product, try up to 3-5 times solubiliser to essential oil (ie 9-15 drops solubiliser to 3 drops essential oil). Simply combine the essential oil and solubiliser together, ensuring thoroughly mixed, then add this into the water phase, stirring continuously. Pour the combination into its final bottle. |
| Safety | We recommend always using distilled water or a fresh hydrosol or floral water in your water based creations as tap water may introduce microbes into your products and cause spoilage. We also recommend making water based products in small batches and using them quickly, or storing in the refrigerator, to avoid microbial contamination. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid using in or near eyes and mouth. Not for internal use. Store below 30°C away from direct sunlight. |
