Our Palmarosa essential oil is produced in the humid and tropical climate of Queensland. The plant has a history of use in both Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicines for its affinity to skin, and the essential oil may be helpful with supporting, cooling and soothing aggravated skin, along with balancing and moisturising for all skin types. This sweet, grassy oil with a floral note reminiscent of rose, is a beautiful fragrance to diffuse in the home for creating a calming atmosphere. Its relaxing scent may be supportive in soothing stressful moments and nervous tension. An excellent insect repellent, Palmarosa has been found beneficial in repelling pests.

Aromagolic –
To be honest, Palmarosa is not one of my favorite oils. But this specimen of palmarosa made me reconsider my opinion. Australian Palmarosa oil is very harmonious, it does not have excessive sweetness, as in Indian oil, for example. And the notes of the rose come out quite clearly, as in the samples of good geraniums. I loved this oil and I think that it will be a great addition to my aromatic compositions, not to mention its therapeutic benefits.
